Souvenirs from the barricade

Part of the thrill of any gig, for me, was the post-encore scramble to the front: one well-timed lunge for the setlist before someone at the barricade beat me to it.

I’ve been lucky enough to snag a few over the years, then tuck them away for safekeeping. Today I opened my Pablo Honey CD and found a battered, folded A4 sheet inside: the setlist from Radiohead’s 1994 Powerstation gig in Auckland.

I’m slowly digitising these little artefacts into a setlist archive on my site. This one feels like the perfect place to start.
